Optimization and Reflection
Optimization by definition means both reflection and analyzation. According to Merriam Webster’s the definition is:
“: an act, process, or methodology of making something (as a design, system, or decision) as fully perfect, functional, or effective as possible; specifically: the mathematical procedures (as finding the maximum of a function) involved in this”
Making something as perfect, functional, or effective as possible…Huh…
Optimize and Reflect
Of course this is my first blog of 2014. The New Year always makes me want to reflect on our successes and even any disappointments of the previous year. It is through a thorough and truly honest evaluation of ourselves, our work and our SEO efforts, websites and internet projects, we can improve.
I can make a list of all of the items and activities that are important to good, or even great optimization or web design and site building. However, sometimes beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We host and build many websites based almost solely on the design ideas from clients. The look and feel needs to reflect the values and personality of the company, no matter how big or small.
Optimization is where most clients fail to understand our true value. This is where the truly successful optimization experts will begin to affect the outcome of both design and architecture.
Optimization
Optimization is more science than art. Ignore the old cliché “more art than science” If we referring back to the Webster’s definition, it is mathematical process and procedures of finding the maximum functional solution to whatever you are working on, including and especially Optimization or SEO.
In Conclusion
To do great optimization, it is a process. After all, Google continues to change and update its search algorithm, therefore, we must continue to evaluate, reflect then adjust our process to provide grand optimization.
